2023年4月に東京で結成された新生ガールズバンド。バンド名は古代を意味する『パレオ』と、新しいことを表す『ネオ』を組み合わせた造語。メンバーは、ほほ美(Vo)、AYARI(G)、REOTO(G＆Vo)、YONA(B)の4名。
活動開始からわずか2ヶ月後の6月に3曲入り1stデジタルシングル『PANORAMA』をリリース、吉祥寺ROCKJOINTGBにてフリーワンマンライブを開催。その後も精力的にライヴ活動を続け、10月には3曲入り2ndデジタルシングル『スキゾイド』をリリース。12月にリリースした3rdデジタルシングル『aLiVE』のMusic VideoがYouTube公開後2週間で再生数が11万回を超える。
2024年6月には結成1周年記念ワンマン公演を東京・新宿ANTIKNOCKにて開催、満員御礼に。同日、自主制作で1stミニアルバム『ØCTAVE』をライヴ会場と通販限定にてリリース。その後、音楽レーベルVAA（ヴィレッジアゲインアソシエイション）と契約を交わし、12月4日(水)に待望の1stフルアルバム『SCØRE』でデビュー。オリコンデイリーアルバムランキング 29位（2024年12月3日付）、オリコン週間ROCKアルバムランキング 9位（2024年12月16日付）、タワーレコード全店ウィークリーチャートJ-INDIES全形態合計ランキング3位（2024/12/2-2024/12/8週）にランクイン。
2025年3月～5月にかけて、アルバム『SCØRE』を引っ提げての初の全国ツアーを開催（静岡/大阪/横浜は完売）。同時にツアー初日となる静岡公演より、初のマキシシングルとなる『Raison d'etre』を会場限定でリリース。
7月には2ndアルバム『FORTISSIMØ』をリリース。オリコンデイリーアルバムランキング 15位（2025年7月15日付）、オリコン週間ROCKアルバムランキング 3位（2025年7月28日付）、オリコン週間インディーズアルバムランキング 5位（2025年7月28日付）、タワーレコード全店ウィークリーチャートJ-INDIES全形態合計ランキング3位（2025/7/14-2025/7/20週）にランクイン。
現在、7月～12月にかけてワンマンツアー全国10都市・12公演を開催中 (静岡/大阪/東京公演は完売)。2026年には東京・大阪で追加公演が決定している。
We are an all female band consist of 4 members: HOHOMI, who uses clean vocals and death growls diffently, AYARI, who plays amazing 7-string guitar, REOTO, an android guitarist/vocalist who writes lyrics of almost all their songs and composes half of their songs, and YONA who is a fantastic 6-string bass guitar player, formed in April 2023 at Tokyo.
Our band name "PaleNeØ" is a combination of Paleo and Neo, which means ancient and brand-new in Greek each.
We released the 1st single "PANORAMA" including 3 songs only after 2 months past from our formation, and held the 1st gig at Kichijoji ROCK JOINT GB on June 2023. We've been staying active and released the 2nd single "Schizoid" in Oct. 2023, furthermore, the 3rd digital single "aLiVE" was released in Dec. in the same year in a row.
We held the 1st anniversary gig at Shinjuku ANTIKNOCK on Jun. 2024, and was completely sold out. After that, we released the 1st mini-album "ØCTAVE." Furthermore, we debuted on Dec. 4th with the 1st album "SCØRE" contracting with the Japanese musical label VAA (Village Again Association).
We conducted our 1st national concert tour "Allegro Agitato" from Mar. to May 2025. The tickets for some performances of this tour (Shizuoka, Osaka and Yokohama) were sold out. Moreover, at the beginning of this tour, our 1st maxi single "Raison d'etre" has come out.
In addition, we've already released the 2nd album "FORTISSIMØ" in Jul. 2025. And now we're going on our 2nd national concert tour "FORTISSIMØ" that consists of 12 gigs around 10 cities. Tickets for Shizuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo performances were sold out, but we're going to hold 2 additional performances in Tokyo and Osaka next year.
